Punch Needle Israel in Ramat HaSharon is a home for punch needle workshops tailored personally and professionally for every age and format: individuals, couples, families, birthday parties, team-building days and groups. No prior experience needed - just show up and let yourself go.

What is punch needle?

Punch needle is a form of embroidery using a specialized needle that pushes yarn into taut fabric. The technique is accessible and forgiving (mistakes can be pulled out and redone), and it quickly puts participants into a creative flow state. In a workshop you can make wall hangings, pillows, bags, hoops, apparel and accessories.

Where are the workshops held?

Workshops take place at our studio in Ramat HaSharon, in central Israel (a short drive from Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Raanana and Kfar Saba). For company team days we can bring the full workshop setup to your location.

FAQ

How long is a punch needle workshop?
A typical workshop runs about 2.5 hours (starting from 2). Family and kids formats run 2–2.5 hours, and team-building days are 2–3 hours depending on the plan.
Do I need prior experience?
No. The workshops are fully beginner-friendly. We start from needle grip and build up step by step to a finished piece.
What's included in the price?
Each participant receives a dedicated punch needle fabric stretched on a hoop, which they take home at the end of the session with their finished piece. Also included: use of the studio's colorful wool yarns, professional punch needles, and hands-on guidance throughout.
What's the maximum group size for team days?
Up to 20 participants. Larger groups can be split into adjacent sessions or arranged in a customized format.
Can it work as a gift or couples session?
Absolutely. Private 1:1 sessions, couples workshops and birthday celebrations are all available, with a keepsake piece to take home.
What do I take home from the workshop?
Every participant leaves with their own finished piece (an embroidered hoop, a small pillow, a wall hanging or a bag), depending on the workshop format. Private sessions also include a professional punch needle to keep using at home.
Is the workshop only at the studio or can you come to us?
Private, family and birthday workshops are held at the studio in Ramat HaSharon. For team-building and company events we can bring the full studio setup to your office, home or venue.
What do I need to bring to the workshop?
Just yourself and a creative mood. All materials (fabric, hoop, wool yarns and needles) are ready for you at the studio. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
What's the minimum age for children?
Kids workshops are suitable from age 6 and up. For younger children, parents are welcome to join a family workshop to get them started.
Are there follow-up sessions?
Yes. After the first workshop you can book follow-up sessions to go deeper into textures, color mixing or a larger project, or set up a regular ongoing series.
Can I buy a workshop as a gift voucher?
Absolutely. We can issue a gift voucher (email or printed) for any of the workshop formats. Get in touch via the form and we'll coordinate the format and date together.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations up to 7 days before the workshop date will receive a refund minus a â‚Ş150 registration fee. Cancellations after this date - no refund will be issued. *No refund will be given for cancellations due to any personal reason including illness, absence, or travel. In cases of force majeure, security situations, or official Home Front Command directives that prevent the activity from taking place, a credit toward a future workshop or a proportional refund will be issued for sessions that did not take place. (Subject to a 5% handling fee deduction)
